The last month has been amazing!

I cannot thank the Kickstarter community enough for the incredible support for my project over the last 30 days. To everyone who has backed the project, I am so grateful and cannot wait to get the FlushBrush manufactured and into all of your homes. 

What happens next?

I have received many messages asking about next steps, some from people who are new to Kickstarter, so to summarise:

Kickstarter will begin charging your cards over the next 7 days - if the payment fails for any reason, they will try again over the course of the next week. If after a week and several attempts payment is unsuccessful, the pledge will be cancelled. 

Sometimes your bank can decline Kickstarter charges, so keep an eye on notifications from Kickstarter. 

Then?

We have already begun making the final design reviews, incorporating the great feedback received from backers during the campaign. Once those are completed, we will be entering production, targeting shipping out in July as promised. 

Address Surveys

The surveys to collect shipping addresses are coming out soon via our partner BackerKit - watch out for their email. There will be the option there to add any extras you want to purchase, including additional heads, additional units, or any other components. 

In this survey you will also select your colour preference and choose between having the floor stand or the wall bracket. 

These surveys will be sent out in the next 7-10 days - be sure to fill them out so we can ship accurately and quickly.

Ordering Extras

You will be able to add extras during BackerKit's address survey. Prices will reflect the pledge level at which you supported the project, so for example:

• UltraBird Backers will get extras at UltraBird prices
• EarlyBird Backers will get extras at EarlyBird prices

We will be offering whole additional units, as well as extra brush heads, at heavy discounts to future retail prices. These will also come with free shipping to all Kickstarter backers.

What is BackerKit? 

Kickstarter is a fantastic platform, but it limits backers when ordering multiple units or different combinations of product. They also don't have the best tools for collecting and verifying shipping addresses, so many creators use "Pledge Management" tools like BackerKit to collect addresses accurately and help backers to customise their orders. 

You’ll get an e-mail when surveys are sent out (I will also post an update).

Situation in China

Now, unfortunately, is not the best time in history to be manufacturing in China. We are in close contact with our manufacturing partners who are currently open and operating. Most of our immediate work can be conducted online rather than in-person, so we are hopeful not to be delayed by factory closures or travel disruption.

Over 1000% Funded - Into the Final Few Days

Final few days!

First of all I wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to the (almost) 9,000 backers of this campaign. It means a lot to see an idea I began working on years ago supported by so many people, and I can’t wait to get the product into production.

We are into the final four days of the campaign, please continue to share the campaign and spread the word!

We wanted to quickly address some really common FAQs

• Can I buy additional units? Can I buy additional heads? 
• In our post campaign survey, all backers will be able to add extra units with free shipping at the same Kickstarter prices. You will also be able to add additional heads at this point, and they will be available for purchase through our website once the product is on general sale.
   
• What stand do I get by default? 
• By default, we will be shipping floor stands with every order. In the post campaign survey you will be able to specify if you the wall stand instead.
   
• Does this work on rimless toilets? 
• Unfortunately we didn't design FlushBrush to work with rimless toilets. 3 out the 4 components will work fine, but the cradle requires a special redesign to work with rimless toilets. If you have one, we suggest you keep an eye on our website for when we release that version, which will be within a few months. 

Our post campaign surveys will be coming out after the campaign ends and it’s really important to fill them out ASAP with your mailing address so we can ship to you as quickly as possible.
